Paul Corry

Started playing tenor saxophone at the age of fifteen, and at 18 Paul was offered a place at Leeds College Of Music., taking the jazz and contemporary music course. Over the years he has emerged as one of the leading British exponents of blues and Rn'B tenor saxophone.

As well as being an integral part of Roy Wood's horn section, Paul has toured extensively with such diverse artistes as : Jamiroquai , Corinne Bailey-Rae, Bobby Parker, BB King, Duane Eddy, Richard Hawley, Status Quo, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and many more.

Paul is also a fine blues guitarist, releasing albums on the internet under the name "Bluesfreak".This is a very different modern expression of blues music, written and performed by Paul himself, and certainly worth a listen.
